| Knitters only: I bought a Goodwill knit, button-up, short, yellow, boxy sweater that I originally liked and now thing is stupid-looking. haha. I don't really like the shape (short and boxy). Can you think of a way to modify the shape of an already-finsihed sweater at the waist?? I'm also thinking about replacing the buttons and adding embroidery... hmm... |

| WTH?? Here's something I just don't get. My name is Janel, right? Especially when it's typed out, it shouldn't be hard to pronounce - or believe, right? But noooo. 1/2 the time when people see my name written or typed "Janel," they assume I must mean Janet. I play online games under the name "CallMeJanel" and someone just called me Jane (Jane #1?). Darn it. I can't really go "CallMeJaneL" because then it looks like Jane L. Gar! Just call me Jan.  |

| Well, I'm well. :) And I'm subbing! It's not TOO difficult. I've been in a couple orchestra classes so far and have just (mostly) followed the lesson plans left for me. I've gotten a lot of excited introductions to the effect of: "Oh my gosh!!! A MUSIC sub!! I'm ____ and am so happy that you will be able to get something done if I'm ever gone!" Yep. w00t, so they say. |
